This — short, thoughtless banter sandwiched between a photolog of impromptu camera phone shots — is not what vedjen.com was to become.

I had big dreams of daily personal updates, a record of home improvements, and, later, a journal of my pregnancy with our first child.

Dreams of bringing together friendly dialog between friends and family.

Dreams of being a part of an online community.

And then somewhere along the way I just got too tired to write.

Too tired to think.

Too tired to take a shower.

Physically, my body is in the same condition as my mind.

Stuck.

I can barely shift from my left to my right side without squealing like a stuffed pig.

I just need a good night sleep.

No multiple late night trips to the toilet.

No suddenly waking up in the middle of the night because my torso is stretched sore.

Just one good night and I will have a fresh approach to write about Week 34 and 35.

To write about our recent weekend tearing down more walls, rewiring electrical outlets, and eating yet another meal from a fast food restaurant.

Instead of brisket.

Right now, I am just so tired.

And swollen.

I just need a quick nap . . .
