Last week I repeated the running schedule for Week 3 (90 seconds walking, 90 seconds running, 3 minutes walking, 3 minutes running, x2) because my skills the week prior were less than stellar. The first day the 3 minute run was killer but by the third day I actually thought “that wasn’t so bad” immediately after running. It was then I knew I was ready to continue to Week 4.
Unfortunately, I have yet to make it out for a run at all this week. And it’s Friday already.
I have every excuse for why I didn’t get out: work; baby; rain; 3 hours of sleep (TOTAL!) in two days. Frankly, I am just so utterly exhausted that most days I can’t even bring myself to take a shower or brush my teeth so running to improve my physical fitness is just not one of my top priorities.
